Woodhill Mountain Bike Park Auckland’s home ground for mountain biking, with over 100 kilometers of singletrack trails.
Riders of all abilities are catered for with well-marked and graded trails. The well-draining soil ensures excellent trail conditions year-round.
Located just 40 minutes from downtown Auckland, the park offers hire bikes, an on-site mechanic service, a pro-shop, and a café.
Know before you go...
Safety
Always carry a cellphone and trail map with you
Familiarise yourself with forestry roads marked on the map so you can explain your location to emergency services
Only ride the trails marked on the map
Don’t ride structures in the rain and beware of slippery roots and trail conditions
Dial 111 in the event of an emergency
Facilities
Parking on gravel carpark
Accessible parking available - but on weekends it can be busy so it can pay to call ahead to ensure that the team keeps accessible parking spaces clear
Toilets - there are steps to get into the toilet facilities, unfortunately there are no accessible toilets as yet
Accessible access - there is a gate for adaptive riders to access the forest
Riding passes are purchased from the shop

Getting there
From Auckland: Head to the end of the North-Western Motorway. Follow State Highway 16 towards Helensville. Approximately 5-10 minutes past the town of Kumeu turn left when you see the signage for the Woodhill Mountain Bike Park. Follow the signs from there (approximately 1km).
Accommodation
Most riders travel to Woodhill from Auckland. There will be some accomodation options available in the small towns nearby.
