Te Ara Utiwai - Section 1 is the first segment of a spectacular trail network within Te Ara a Rangituhi, beginning at the convenient Camp Elsdon Car Park. This section takes riders through lush native bush, offering a thrilling ride with a variety of terrain and technical features.
Starting from the car park, the trail winds through dense forests of native trees, providing a cool and shaded ride. The path features a mix of gentle climbs and flowing descents. As you progress, the trail opens up to offer stunning viewpoints where you can pause and take in panoramic views of Porirua Harbour, the Kapiti Coast, and the surrounding landscapes.
Te Ara Utiwai - Section 1 is known for its well-maintained surface, ensuring a smooth ride while still presenting natural obstacles and technical sections to keep things exciting.
